La roya de tallo del trigo (Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici) fue considerada la roya más destructiva en Uruguay. El objetivo del trabajo fue piramidar estos genes de resistencia mayores, de naturaleza raza-específicos, en germoplasma nacional adaptado, de manera de obtener materiales con resistencia más duradera que si se utilizaran individualmente. |
